Fun Day in aid of the Needy of San Fulgencio and La Marina

Hi, Just to remind you all about the Fun Day in aid of the above worthwhile cause, (in this day and age its not nice to think of people not being able to afford to live.) The Fun Day is on Saturday 5th May, at 3p.m. onwards, at AJ's Bar, Calle Madrid, (Grey Area) La Marina. There will be various stalls, Tombola, Raffle,(A member of the local council will be there to draw the raffle). Various Artists have given up their time to support this worthwhile cause including Michael Buble tribute, Buddy Holly tribute, Cherry K and many more. Why not come along and have a great time. We look forward to seeing you all there. Food will be bought with all the monies collected and given to the Town Hall for distribution. Many thanks for your suppoet.

Don't forget everyone that the fund day is this coming Saturday, starting at 3.00 pm (music from 3.30 pm). Come along, have a great day and help a very worthwhile cause. If least year's event (in aid of K9 Club) is anything to go by, you will have a great day.

JUST TO LET EVERYONE KNOW THAT A GREAT AMOUNT OF 420EUROS APPROX, WAS RAISED THIS AFTERNOON; WE HAD TO FINISH EARLY BECAUSE OF THE RAIN: BUT I THINK I CAN TALK FOR EVERYONE THAT WAS THERE IT WAS A GREAT AFTERNOON: PETER AND I WOULD LIKE TO THANK EVERYONE WHO DONATED ITEMS AND ATTENDED THE FUN DAY TO MAKE IT THE SUCCESS IT WAS. I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO THANK THE KIND GENTLEMAN WHO WENT INTO AJ'S BAR THIS MORNING AND DONATED 30€ TOWARDS THIS WORTHWHILE CAUSE; CAN YOU PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHO YOU ARE:

Yes a big thank you to everyone who came and supported our funday and gave their hard earned cash to help those less fortunate. What an amazing amount of food the money will buy.
Shame about the weather, but thats the one thing we cant plan.
Big thanks to Pauline & Pete for organising it and to Brenda and Steve for helping with tables and decorations etc. Also thanks to Linda for being glass collector for the afternoon ( she wasnt to be reakoned with!!) Everyone gave us their time for free and it was much appreciated.
