Having read the previous days comments,I thought it would be better to answer all of them in one go.
Firstly Eve,thanks for informing me raotl,was in fact your son in law,I just wish I had the guts to do to my mother in law what he did to you.Poppy yes Andi wasnt the only person who should apologize to you,I thought the same as him.and I promise to apologize to you when you do the same to the people you have attacked on your comments.One for Steve,I took a look at your web-site and I always admire people who are willing to help those less fortunate,and admire you for it,but if the charity had been in Spain,would you have been happy if people started maligning you and querying your charity status,as happened on this forum recently.one for Jeff,it has been good to see your name not popping up as the person responsible for anything that goes wrong on the Urbs.
Well thats my piece said except to say I love my life on La Marina,I would like to change a few things about it,but what the heck so would most people,but at he end of the day,I can quite easily live with what I have got,As was said earlier in a comment this is not a rehearsal,you dont come back and start again,so enjoy your life and help others enjoy theirs.
Those are my thoughts for today

I was referring to your comments on Nikki and Her taking "legal action"which I believe you now have agreed was not the wording used,you then went on in another comment to query why she was saying what she did say.You had no reason to doubt what she meant,but still seemed to leave it to the reader to work out,Which is exactly what I did in my comment.Other than that your other comments like Andis have been fair and in some cases a pleasant relief from some of the rubbish I have read on here

I understand your point re charities, I have also read what has been said regarding the ones in La Marina.

I do not think it matters what country you run a charity in as you will always get people question as to its genuineness. Some times even having the correct registration in place does not stop people taking from the pot, as has been reported many times.
My own book about my charity does touch on this from my own experience.
Your question was how would I react if I came under the same attack? I suppose I would have to have stood up and be counted and fight my corner, I would not have been happy due to my commitment being questioned but that is life and that is people.

I dont agree with a few things you state or maybe how the forum is run but, its not my forum, i still use it and that entire comment you have just stated i am in complete agreement

As for the forum and how its run, I am open to advise and help, I have only tried to offer a platform for people to use and am trying my best not to step in every 5 minutes to break up the fights. We are all adults and should know how to behave.

Alan my son-in-law is 1200 miles away and about 6ft 2" tall so from my 5ft 3" I cannot retaliate can I. He is my favourite son-in-law, but then I only have one so I am stuck for choice. Apart from that, he is a good son-in-law and we get on very well, even if his sense of humour drives me wild at times, but, I would not swap him for anything. I had better shut up or he won't get through the door, his head will swell.

Yes you are so right,I was wrong to blame you for that comment,for which i truly am sorry,and hopefully you will accept my apology,in the manner it was given.My only excuse is that i have been in England for several weeks,but i always try to put comments on forums when i am not at home,just in case bad people work out my house may be empty,unfortunately I didnt really check everything in detail.
I did think at the time that you was a for Nikki and not against her,though the comment was written you were not the author of it,again I offer my apologize

And i have a very nice mother in law . even if she is common . Now o the subject that every one is talking about . You should all be made up you have such a great community and night life on your doorstep . Dont knock it .Some of us still paying over the top prices for drinks in the UK and they measure everything out , so come on gang , be grateful for what you have . Im just sorry i dont get to be there as often as id like .

I love your comment about Eve, you obviously have a very good relationship. You're so right about La Marina. It has a lot to offer.We live off the urb on El Oasis but for food and entertainment we go into town. Our pals live in Almoradi and complain there is nothing to do there and on a Sunday everything is closed. They'd love to be in L/M but are committed for a few years yet. Went to Curry Mahal again yesterday with friends and we all agreed it was fabulous. We go for the lunchtime meal. With popadoms drinks and brandy coffee it worked out 11 euros a head,and I brought some home. A great addition to the area, give it a try
