Hillside Pool

Hi Alan, Jane one of the four who run Hillside bar confirmed to me today that the pools were not going to be filled. The owner is supposed to have said that not many peple will visit La Marina this year because of the Olympics. ???

Thats a shame although I can understand why the pool won't be filled. You have the Olympics along with the Euro foot-ball. I think all local businesses will suffer this summer due to the Olympics.
Lets hope the fiesta and jubilee day wil bring a lot of visitors

I think its a shame it doesnt open. I visited it last year with my grandson and family and had lovely day, all villas in Oasis where I live are fully booked and we always tell people to pay a visit, not all people like the beach, I'd say think again.

I thought it rather strange,especially as the English papers were saying Brits were leaving the country during the Olympics,as everything would be overloaded.
Obviously the people who run the pool part of Hillside,read different papers to me

Has people are coming but not using all the facilities within La Marina

Several things to rember, water is expensive, a lot of people have their own pools and flights this summer have gone through the roof.

Not sure if it mentioned above in the posts, but the sports complex on the roundabout near to the chemist is open. nice big pool, slides, family fun etc.
