Feral Cat Program

Im posting this because i think its quite useful information that many people are not aware of. As many of you know when the new charity by-law came into effect last December it closed PAWS animal rescue down. They had for many years done there best to keep the feral cat population down. Linda, the lady who would go out, trap the cats and take them to the vet to be spayed/castrated is now doing this for Impact Charity. As many people will know, quite a lot of people do moan or try and deal with feral cats in there own way. Impact Charity is now the only charity in this town who are dealing with feral cats. Each female cat costs €78 and each boy cat costs €38. This is at a cut price, since the turn of the year the charity has spent upto €1000 euros on feral cats alone. This is before any donations are given out to other charities. The town hall does not support or even offer any help in any way. This is getting stupid, more and more kittens are turning up, just the other day Linda had a couple of feral cats that are about to burst with kittens, still there is no help from town hall. Ive seen in the papers a lot of other town halls do offer help if a charity is doing a feral cat program. Would the twon hall be willing to help in anyway, we will find out in a few days.
