adoption of parques by council
parque del Tajo is our address on the urbanisation and we are more than happy to try to keep it clean and tidy whilst we are there but is it a possibility that the road will ever become adopted by the council. As many other people have commented we were not informed of this situation when we purchased the house. Another source of annoyance is that residents persist in parking outside their properties causing both congestion and it is not pleasant to be subjected to car fumes....any thoughts on this would be welcomed . regards
Patricia we were not informed that our Parque was private when we bought a property on it 7 years ago. When we had a sewerage problem which has now cost us 460 euros, because we are the last in line to the sewerage system, we found this out. I went to the office of the solicitor who dealt with our purchase and they informed me it was not private, but it is. I will never use this solicitor again as despite paying him about 1200 euros he failed to do the correct thing in 2 other areas. I am going to see Councillor Paullino this week to see if we can talk about these Parques. It will not do La marina any good to let these areas become run down.
