hi there, we have an apartment (which incidentally is for sale!!) opposite the plaza. we holiday there every summer and find that in summer the touristy thing adds to the feel and the atmosphere of the place. winter is quiet, but still lovely and makes a change as the bars are queiter then. the balance in villamartin is great. we are very close to the plaza, but are not disrupted by noise or anything and it's so lovely to walk back to the apartment (2 mins) after a lovely meal out. Yes, i know, i am plugging the position of our place and of course if your friends were at all interested in seeing it, or even staying in it, to get a feel for the area, just let me know!
